LITOCHORO ( Enipeas River )
OLYMPOS (Monastery of Agios Dionysios)

Departure in front of the 1st Lyceum of Kalamaria on Chilis street in the morning at 08.00. It is possible to board on V. Olgas streets (two stops Colosseo and Paraskevopoulos) and Egnatias (one stop at the statue of Venizelos). Continuing we will stop in Plza for a coffee and then in Litochoro at the Church of Agios Nikolaos to attend the service of the Consecration of the waters and then following the procession we will reach the Enipea river where we will watch the throwing of the Cross into the river and the many dips who will try to catch the Cross. Then to the monastery of Agios Dionysios on Olympus, the mountain of the 12 Gods.

Return to Litochoro and to some tavern for an optional meal and then an optional walk through the Enipea gorge which will last about an hour with stops on a paved path in a straight line and without uphills that passes below crystal clear water that irrigates the city of Litochoro .

Finally the time we will set departure for our return with one stop
in the Plaza for the afternoon coffee and mmmmm arrival in Kalamaria.
